Are you an immigrant worker in British Columbia? Join us for a free, practical workplace safety workshop designed to help you understand your rights, recognize workplace hazards, and stay safe on the job.
What You’ll Learn:
– Your basic rights and responsibilities as a worker under WorkSafeBC
– An overview of workers’ compensation laws and coverage options
– How to recognize workplace hazards and prevent injuries
– How to report unsafe working conditions or work-related injuries
– Where to find help, support, and resources after a workplace injury
– The workshop uses practical information and real-life examples to make workplace safety easy to understand. No prior safety knowledge is required.
